Vice President of Operations/General Manager

 

The Vice President of Operations/General Manager is the leader of the Operations team and is responsible for all aspects of value creation at the company. This position reports to the CEO.

 

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Ensure plant safety, product quality, on-time delivery, and on-target cost of goods

  • Manage all groups involved in the order to cash process

  • Ensure that manufacturing lines and processes are operating at a world-class level using relevant metrics

  • Apply Lean manufacturing tools to aggressively drive continuous improvement

  • Deliver cost reductions in line with company goals

  • Creation of budgets

  • Accurate forecasting

  • Effectively communicate operational and financial metrics to the executive team and Board of Directors

  • Inspire others to fulfill the company’s mission and vision

  • Nurture and develop leaders within the Operations team

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field

  • 10+ years experience in manufacturing-specific operations management with progressively increasing responsibility

  • 5 + years senior leadership

  • Strong understanding of business finance and the impact of operational initiatives on business finance

  • Experience with P&L and/or budget responsibility

  • Demonstrated success in high-growth organizations with an emphasis on strong EBITDA growth

  • Ability to think strategically as well as tactically

  • Contagiously positive and inspiring management style with a bias toward making others successful

  • True team player who is fully invested in the success of the entire group

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters in Business Administration

Job Description

Vice President of Sales

 

The Vice President of Sales is the leader of the Sales team and is responsible for the creation and development of new customers and new projects at the company. The VP of Sales is also responsible for the maintenance of customer relationships and creating partnerships with those customers. The role also involves an aspect of sales operations. This position reports to the CEO.

 

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Create strategy and metrics for Sales team in alignment with the company’s business development goals

  • Ensure that salespersons are achieving their metrics

  • Manage all individuals in the outside and inside (technical) sales organization

  • Interface frequently and effectively with other groups within the company to ensure customer satisfaction and achievement of business goals

  • Establish and maintain key customer relationships

  • Lead the team in pricing strategy for new and existing business

  • Assist in the financial planning process

  • Prepare marketing plans and campaigns to promote markets served

  • Provide guidance to marketing

  • Recruit and hire sales staff

  • Develop sales training programs

  • Develop strategic promotional plans

  • Planning and development of tradeshows

  • Effectively develop and report on sales metrics to the executive team and Board of Directors

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field

  • 10+ years experience as a proactive salesperson with demonstrated success in achieving ambitious sales targets

  • 5+ years experience in sales management with progressively increasing responsibility

  • Strong understanding of business finance and the impact of operational initiatives on business finance

  • Understanding of metrics needed to drive successful sales growth

  • Experience in budget management

  • Comfortable in a “player/coach” role; able to take on a role as a salesperson as well as managing other salespersons

  • Ability to think strategically as well as tactically

Job Description

Logistics Coordinator

 

A Logistics Coordinator facilitates communication between production, sales and warehouse functions to promote a healthy and efficient supply chain.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Assist supply chain manager and warehouse coordinator in the following activities:

  • Manages warehouse inventory and maintains database.

  • Coordinates and schedules the movement of products throughout the warehouse including storage and shipment of finished products.

  • Implements daily shipping plan, arranging for pickups with carriers directly.

  • Manages daily flow of raw material to machine for production.

  • Confirms availability of items to be shipped by verifying SO and communicate with supply chain/sales.

  • Directs forklift drivers to store goods in identified areas.

  • Lead monthly counts of both raw material and finished goods.

  • Maintains records of incoming products to receive in IQMS.

  • Operates box truck, pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehousing equipment.

  • Performs other related duties as directed, including production packing, as needed.

 

 

Skills and Qualification:

  • Effective communication, including writing, speaking and interpersonal communication

  • Excellent customer service and client relations skills

  • Keep organization, time management, and leadership skills

  • Good collaboration and teamwork abilities

  • Inventory management experience

  • Ability to use computers, software and other technology for inventory and communication purposes

  • Understanding of the supply chain, including common obstacles

  • Forklift certification is a plus

  • Valid drivers license with good driving record
