Machine Operator

Job Description

Salt Lake City based manufacturing company is searching for a Machine Operator with experience operating high-speed processing equipment. The machine operator will aid in plant processes making sure all parts of the machine are working correctly. It is a dynamic fast paced environment. Will usually work independently within a team. We are looking for a person to join our team full time, 40 to 50 hours a week and/or occasional overtime. Your Role

  • Operate computer-controlled processing equipment, including the product packing from machine.

  • Light maintenance, including perform greasing and regular cleaning of machine.

  • Timely inspection of product, using calipers or other measuring tools.

  • Performs other related duties and tasks as required, such as material loading and handling. Documentation of processing related information on a PC or log book.

Supporting Experience

  • Minimum of 2-3 years experience operating processing equipment, such as injection molder.

  • Ability to troubleshoot machinery problems. Demonstrated computer skills preferably Ability to work well as a team member.

  • High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environment

Physical Demands and Capabilities

  • Frequently lift up to 50 pounds and adjust body position to bend, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for long periods of time.

  • Prefer Non-smoker, for required work in a clean room environment.

  • Ability to work in varying temperatures, depending upon season.

  • Good vision and color perception.

  • Good communication skills, including math, language and reading (English)

Packer/Inspector for Production

Job Description

Salt Lake City based manufacturing company is searching for a Packer/Inspector Production person for 2nd and 3rd shift with experience in manufacturing. It is a dynamic fast paced environment. We are looking for a person to join our team full time, 40 to 50 hours a week and/or occasional overtime. Career advancement opportunities are available.

Responsibilities

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Working on production line to inspect, pack, and count product.

  • While packing product, will inspect for visible defects such as contamination, bad trim, high seams, holes, or any other defects.

  • After packing product, will seal and label each of the boxes/containers.

  • Will be lifting boxes that weight 40-50lbs regularly.

  • Keep area around workstation clean and organized.

  • Perform any other duties assigned to you by your Shift Supervisor.

 

Qualifications

Requirements/Physical Demands:

  • Seeking punctual and reliable individual with great work ethic.

  • Must have good eye-hand coordination/dexterity.

  • Must be able to comply with safety regulations and policies.

  • Able to stand, walk, bend, lift, and stoop for prolonged periods of time.

  • Must be able to see and identify color.

  • Ability to work as a team to get the job done.
